system has a single purpose \u2014 to make life easier for cruising sailors, by allowing the automatic stowing of the mainsail top batten into the lazy bag, without the need for awkward (and sometimes risky) manoeuvers.<\/h5><h5 data-start=\"464\" data-end=\"951\">The new KGL features significantly reduced friction compared to the first version.<br data-start=\"554\" data-end=\"557\" \/>It can be used with a single or double halyard, requires no special masthead fitting, and comes with a locking pin to secure the lock during long passages.<\/h5><h5 data-start=\"464\" data-end=\"951\">In the coming months, the KGL will also be available in versions compatible with other brands\u2019 mast cars \u2014 although, of course, it works best with Karver cars\u2026 but we\u2019re not going to be
