Its purpose is simple: to ensure that the gaff batten automatically releases and neatly stows itself in the lazy bag, without requiring any acrobatics above the gooseneck.<br \/> Made of two separate parts, this gaff lock is smoother to operate and offers significantly reduced friction. It can be used with either a single or a double-line halyard.<br \/> During long passages, when the gaff batten is kept permanently engaged, the system can be locked for added security.<br \/> The KGL40 V2 gaff lock is available with or without our KMS40 slider cars. We can adapt our cars to Antal, Harken, and Ronstan tracks.
